Into the Future: Descendants missing

I got "Into the Future" a few days ago and have so far traveled with a single sim to Oasis Landing and following the initial opportunities chain. However when I tried to find her descendants, they are listed in the almanac of time (there are a lot of them and they are doing good) but when I click on the magnifying glass to show me their home, the almanac just closes. I tried searching for their home on my own but there is no household with that name in Oasis Landing.

I have no mods and I am hoping I could solve this problem easily without any major movements.

Did you get a notice when you arrived that the descendants were living at a specific address?
