Music Career in Late Night

If I have Late Night installed, can I use one of the new instruments such as piano or drums in place of the guitar metric in the (base game) music career?

Unfortunately, the Music career still requires the guitar skill. The other three instruments will not contribute towards that metric.  :(

It is annoying, I got my sim to level 10 in drums and piano, then decided to join the rock career, and realised they didn't count. Must be a lot of solo guitarist rock stars lol
