Update missing from launcher

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but it's technical so it will do.

When the Into the Future update was released, I was about to go on holiday so I didn't know about it. I got back from my holiday and realised that there was a new update but it wasn't showing in the launcher. I've checked around the internet and I can't find an answer I'm comfortable with.

So my question is how can I get my game updated if it isn't showing in the launcher?

Have you tried using the Superpatch? Here's the link for it if you want to have a look.

From what I can remember its just clicking the link and following instructions. Should be simple enough :)
