The Hunger Games Character Traits
« on: November 25, 2013, 07:24:26 PM »
I'm planning on making sims based off characters from The Hunger Games over the next couple of weeks hopefully. Does anyone have suggested characters/traits/lifetime wishes for anybody? I'm willing to try anyone from the series, really.

Edit: I just wanted to add that I have all EP's except Pets and Seasons so anything from any other expansion is good. :)

Glad to know that you create your own topic, here are two of my favourites:

Beetee

Main traits
Genius, Eccentric, Bookworm, Handy and Computer Whiz
LTW: Scientific Specialist, Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder, The Tinkerer or Chess Legend

My reason:
Well, I adore Beetee because he was smart so Genius is a perfect trait for him. Because he know lot of thing, I knew that he’s a Bookworm and he seems quite savvy with using wire that also part of Technology so he must have a Handy trait and what can make people looks nerdy, one of the cause is Computer Whiz. I bet he loves playing games or searching information that quite relevant for him via internet.

Wiress

Main Traits
Genius, Bookworm, Brooding, Insane and Unlucky
LTW: Scientific Specialist or Monster Maker

My reason
She always know one step ahead than other, so she must be a Genius and because she has some issue and Johanna called her nuts, Insane will be perfect as her trait, she also look like a deep thinker so she must have a brooding trait, you will know about what kind of rambling that make no sense to some people who not aware that’s actually a code and she’s so unlucky if you know for what happened to her.

I'll try:

Rue:
Virtuoso, Good, Loves The Outdoors
(I only used three because I figured you'll be making her a kid)

I am on the website Chicken Smoothie! My username is Miyazaki.

Interesting!
Gale:
Athletic
Brave
Family Oriented
Loves the outdoors
Gatherer(hunting)
He is not my favourite character but I thought he would be the easiest to start with!
I was going to give him the evil trait (book 3) but thought that would be mean!

Aw I love Gale! Just curious, why would you give him the evil trait?

I love Gale but in the first book only, not in the rest, I start lost respect on him, he looks like a different person. I thought that the author did sudden changes in him on purpose, so readers wouldn't mind about Katniss and Peeta being together and in the end the readers just hate on him because of that. Poor Gale!

But, looking at the movie and the cast, Liam Hemsworth is handsome, so I wouldn't mind about his personality change or whatever ::) I also wish that he wasn't end up with Miley though ::)

She is easy in the sense that there are a lot of traits that I think she has. She's also hard in the sense that there are a lot of traits she could have..  :P

I didn't even think of Commitment Issues or Socially Awkward but those are definitely traits to consider! Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! They're really helpful.

Hehe, I'm making Hunger Games Sims too! I've got Peeta all sorted. I'm going to make him Good, Artistic, a Natural Cook, Friendly and a Light Sleeper. Good and friendly go hand-in-hand, he's clearly a Natural Cook seeing as he's the son of a baker and in the books he's always baking people things ( :P ) and he is artistic for obvious reasons. He is a Light Sleeper because it is mentioned in the books and the Catching Fire film that he has difficulty sleeping since the Hunger Games. I'm not sure about his LTW. I'm leaning towards Surrounded by Family.

I think Gale should have the Brave, Loves the Outdoors, Rebellious, Athletic and Family-Oriented. I was thinking International Super Spy as LTW.

I wasn't that sure about Katniss. At the moment I was thinking of Brave, Family-Oriented, Brooding, Light Sleeper and Good. I was going to include Rebellious but then I remembered that Katniss often denies that she's trying to lead a rebellion or trying to be a beacon of hope, even though she is. I have absolutely no idea about the LTW.

Finnick would be Angler, Good, Irresistible, Loves to Swim and Charismatic.

Prim would be Good, Family-Oriented and Neat. She gets three as she'd probably be classed as a child in game.

President Snow would be Evil (obviously), Charismatic, No sense of Humour, Mean Spirited and Coward.

I think Effie's traits would be Star Quality, Diva, Perfectionist, Ambitious and Social Butterfly.

Haymitch would have Slob, Loser, Inappropriate, Commitment Issues and Grumpy.  :)

I totally agree with your suggestions for Johanna, Rue, Wiress and Beetee, Luna, Zaki and Eld.
