Can't install.

So a while back (September ish) I uninstalled and reinstalled island paradise because it was causing some issues. When I reinstalled it however, my game would refuse to open, and it would say "Corrupted data" or something. I backed up my saves, uninstalled everything and reinstalled through origin (I have the disks but my CD drive thingy wont work) and everything worked. Except island paradise. When I go on origin, it says I have installed the game, I click play, and into the future pops up, and the island paradise logo isn't in colour. I have tried reinstalled origin, but the same thing has happened. It is starting to really annoy me now. £30 on a game that wont work. Any help?

I privately messaged you with a response, but am posting one here as well just in case you didn't get the PM.

I'm not entirely sure what's happening with your game. But may have some ideas for you to try that might help installing the game a little easier.

-- Try Running a register cleaner program. (Something like Ccleaner -  http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download)
This helps with cleaning all the goobers uninstalling left behind.

-- If you haven't done so do some system clean up - Run disk cleanup and defrag.

These programs will help clean out the unnecessary and temporary files on your computer and reorganize your hard drive to make it run smoother.

These programs may help better with a complete uninstall and fresh install, but it may still work with your current install.
