Store Content: Skills, Harvestables, Recipes, Upradeables, etc.
« on: November 07, 2013, 12:41:19 PM »
If you are like me, sometimes a person can be a completest when it comes to skills, harvestables, recipes, upgradeable items, etc.  Unfortunately, some of these abilities and items can only be obtained by having the appropriate store content.

I am making this thread to collect all such information in one place.  If there is a thread like this elsewhere, I apologize, and will delete it :)

Skills:
These are skills introduced by Sims store content.  They aren't as in depth as skills introduced in other expansion packs, but they do show up in your skill list.

Gambling
(Learn it playing Triple Riches Slots O'Jackpots Slot Machine or Hit 'em Harder Blackjack Table in the The Lucky Simolean Casino venue)

Violin
(Learn it playing the Fit as a Fiddle Violin in The Duke of Bows Renaissance Faire venue)

Harvestables:
These are new harvestable plants you can include in your garden.

Eggplants
(introduced with the Humble Harvest Stands in the Al Fresco Street Market venue)

Lemons
(introduced with the Humble Harvest Stands in the Al Fresco Street Market venue)

Oranges
(introduced with the Grandpa's Grove venue)

Note:  Where possible I included links for the individual item which brings it to the game, but some of them can only be purchased as part of a set.

Recipes
There are a few new store items that also adds to the recipes one's Sim may learn in game.  Some of them require you to achieve a certain level in the Cooking skill.

The Chun Co. Teppanyaki Grill (from the Itadakimasu! Japanese Inspired Dining set) includes the following recipes:

Teppanyaki Chicken Fried Rice (Level 0)
Teppanyaki Vegetable Medley (Level 0)
Teppanyaki Pepper Steak (Level 2)
Teppanyaki Jumbo Shrimp (Level 3)
Teppanyaki Filet Mignon (Level 4)
Teppanyaki Salmon (Level 5)
Teppanyaki Lobster (Level 6)
Teppanyaki Trio (Level 7)

The following can be learned if you have the Wood Fire Oven from the Monte Vista world.

Cheesy Bread (Level 0)
Country Bread (Level 0)
Extra Cheesy Pizza (Level 0)
Pepperoni Pizza (Level 0)
Breakfast Calzone (Level 0)
Forever Alone Calzone (Level 0)
Woodfired Lasagna (Level 0)
Garlic Bread (Level 2)
Herbivore Delight Lasagna (Level 3)
Lasagna Sopresa (Level 3)
Meat Mania Calzone (Level 5)
Combination Pizza Margherita (Level 7)

If you have the Al Fresco Market installed (the link is above) with the Woodfired Oven, there is a bonus recipe:
Lemon and Eggplant Lasagna (Level 0)

Handiness Uprades
There are a couple more items available from the Sims 3 store which you can upgrade as well with a new Handiness Upgrade.

More Efficient
Available at Level 6, I believe, this reduces your bills even further when your windmills and solar panels are upgraded.  You may wish to be wary of installing this as it may prevent your Handiness Upgrade list from reaching 100%
(You can obtain the Wind Reaper windmill and Heliosolaris III solar panel in the The Toyota Prius Family Pack).

You're welcome.  Although, most of this information is already on the site, just in various places.

Heh, depending on what I play, I sometimes want to make the ultimate Gardener/Chef/Handywoman, etc. so I find such a list personally useful.
