I think I broke my game
« on: January 22, 2014, 10:23:54 PM »
I recently got this NRAAS mod or what have you for my game. I followed ALL of the instructions, reading them more than once and carefully and even watching a video for it. Ok, I'm excited. I then go on to start my game and check out all the new cool things I can do. The game then loads up to the last bit and boom "the sims 3 has stopped working". Ok, I try it again, same result. Even used my shortcut to start, same result. I really want to use this mod thingy, but I have to be able to actually start up the game! Suggestions?! Solutions?!

Hi Shikaino,

Try moving the mods folder to your desktop, then play the game. If it plays fine, then it maybe one of the mods needs to be updated again or may not be working correctly.

They have been working on updating the mods since Twallan left. So there's a good chance you may need to make sure you have the updated version of whatever mods you have.

If you've made sure the mods are updated, and are still having problems. You may want to post something about it in the Nraas Chatterbox, so someone can check into it.

Hope this helps, :)

Which mod are you trying to use?
And just make sure sure you didn't read some old instructions the path to your mods is Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages. At one time the mods use to go in the Program Files directory but now go in the Documents directory.
And you do have a Resource.cfg file in the Mods directory.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.
