Sorry, think I worded my post wrong. During her first pregnancy, I had read about picking out the clothes and making her wear them BEFORE the twirl. But during her second pregnancy, I made the outfits again for her, but forgot to make her wear them before the twirl (thinking she'd automatically put them on as they were in saved outfits).

I just got a nice little surprise.  Had my sim eat the 10 watermelon after her twirl.  No elixirs for procreation, no fertility treatments, no kids tv, kids music, just the normal play computer chess, read skill books and keeping her happy.   She then goes into labor.  Catlin is born and then guess what, she has another baby, another girl !  Welcome Shayla. 

Talk about being surprised.

That happened to me during my Immortal Dynasty.  My founder had twins with no input from me.  I was truly shocked, but it can definitely happen.
