Just like Guitar Star, this Skill Challenge's description is deceptive. Playing at ten parties and venues essentially means you need to do 10 skill opportunities, and wait on those to pop up. When done, you will get a boost to the amount of Simoleons earned from Playing for Tips and any future Skill Opportunities.

I did about 40 different opportunities and nothing  It's not counted 

For other crazy perfectionists: it's easy to make Money Maker - just play in metro and you'll have a lot of tips!

What opportunities did you do? I don't think there would be 40 different opportunities for just that one instrument.

It's 9 kind of opportunities in present time and about 7-9 in future I don't remember exactly. Like play at dinner, play at theatre, play at bot arena etc. I did over 20 at present and over 20 at future - and nothing. May be it's because all of them don't give money?
I just want to know is it bug or it's only my game's problem...
