Buy and Browse interactions showing up on my home lot.
« on: December 15, 2013, 09:46:19 PM »
Hi. I started playing a new game in Island Paradise. I built a boat house for my new sims. Everything was fine for a couple of days, but then items in the bedroom started to show a "buy" and "browse" as an interaction option, as if it were a shop instead of a private lot. It is only happening to items in the bedroom, which is below deck and is close to the dock. The rest of the items on the boat house show the normal interactions.

Does anyone know why this may have happened?

Sounds like you placed a shop rug. One of the new worlds allows you to create a shop on your property. You use specific rugs, shelves, and pedestals to designate items that are for sale.

Yes! That was the problem! I accidentally placed the seller rug. Thanks Variosities.

Thank you!  I didn't know about shop rugs and must have placed one in my Sim's house.  I couldn't figure out why they kept going to browse it.  Now I can fix the problem.  :)
