Well, thus far I'm loving this game. I have had a few interesting incidents where something didn't load properly, but it's been pretty good overall. Combine all the expansions, a few stuff packs, and the ancient computer I'm running them on and well.... The lag is expected.

The Game is interesting. Create a home, have a time machine pop up out of nowhere, go get some cool stuff from the future. I can live with that.

Overall, I have two bots running around now. One is gardening, and I need to expand the garden to keep him busier. He has far too much free time and loves to scan my sim. Especially while she is asleep. Thank heavens we can lock the door to the bedroom! That put an end to that much, at least.

The other bot is in the works to be a nanny, because I want to see what effect having offspring has on future generations and my soon-to-be single mom needs someone to change diapers when she's not there. We'll see how well that works out.

I have one active mod on my system. And, when it does the midnight cleanup it removes cars that would otherwise clutter the landscape. My current Sim is on week 4, day 4. No story progression. The mod cleaned out 5160 vehicles and 21 stationary sims in one night. That's a new record for me. I have to think it's probably the hover boards, and that I'd be very out of luck with this old machine without the mod....

I did find that it's a bad idea to go to a spa while waiting for a lotto result. The result will boot you out of the spa when it's reported - win or lose. You don't get your money back, don't get a moodlet, and you don't get the full effect of having been to the spa. (i.e. maxed out motives.) So, don't buy a ticket on the day you're getting a spa package. Not until you're out of the spa, at any rate.

I am glad that the bots don't have to have a mood chip in order to charge the crystal plants. That makes it fairly easy for the plants to be tended while your sim does whatever she or he is doing elsewhere. (Work, school, etc.)

I honestly think that my favorite add-on from this expansion, though, is the plantable carpet. Just lay down a carpet of grass over your floor tiles and boom! you can plant. Not to mention that, to move them, you just have to pick the carpet up and move it. All the plants on it move with.

The niftiest thing, would be the holographic plants. Want to change the color of your green décor? Just a few clicks and you plant is red. Or blue. Or purple. Or green. Plus, since it seems to use the same command set as the lights in the house, you can have 'flame' colored plants. That was... kind of boring, actually, but a good concept.

My "I want that!" item, is going to have to be the new computer. Floating ball that projects the UI for your sim's screen? No need for a desk or even a table? That definitely rocks. Now, where can I get a real one?
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

Just managed to transform Oasis into a Utopia in my generic dynasty game.

I'm changing it back now, and not going to go there again... Really really creepy.

I just got the expansion as an early Christmas present so I'm a little late but I love it! I was happy to see that there are finally new baby items (crib and high chair) not from the store!  ;D

I just realized that the holophone you get from the Future Sim LTR can be inherited.

With regard to schooling, I found that you can add a school and the children of your household will go. A taxi comes to pick them up. I added the school from Lunar Lakes as it fit in with the overall decor the best. I put in a 20x25 lot, made it a community "no visitors" lot, and added the school from build/buy mode (it's in community buildings).
Thank you! I was going to do that exact thing, but for the life of me couldn't figure out where to find the school.

Where can I find a school to add to Oasis Landing ? I just started playing Into the future yesterday and am wondering where I can find and maybe download a school for my kids. I have all of the expansion packs and only have two addtional Store worlds , Monte Vista and Hidden Springs .
