CAS Contests 2013: 13 - Sim Trek

The Situation:
It's taken a long time, but Sims are finally ready to go Into the Future.  As the top SimStarfleet Admiral, you have been given the job of selecting the commander for the first space ship.  Who should it be?  There are many fine contenders to choose from.

Your Task:
Your task is to decide which Star Trek character would make the best captain to boldly go off on the new Sim space adventures, and recreate that character as a Sim.  Your Sim must be a character from any of the Star Trek series:  The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager or Enterprise.  The character you create should be one of the regulars in the series, but doesn't have to be captain of the particular series (for example, you could choose to create Spock from The Original Series or Worf from The Next Generation).  Please include an explanation as to why you feel that particular character is best suited to lead the Sim Star Trek adventure.  Will your Sim Star Trek captain wear his/her traditional uniform or a brand-new uniform specially designed for him/her?  You decide. Content: You may use content from any EP or SP.  As always, store content and custom content are banned.

Major Kira is also one of our officers to return from what we classify the Mirror universe. Thanks, ladybug53, I am very excited for my first time win. I know it is only fame (no prize), but fame is enough for me. And I really like your Captain Spock. The movie stuff's clothing you used on him looks perfect and he greatly resemble Captain Spock. I am also open to comments, advice and suggestions.
