Montalcino Fandango

I just installed the new patch and this car appeared in my buy mode. I looked online and you are only supposed to be allowed to download it if you have the collector's edition of the Sims 3. I don't have the collector's edition and I didn't even try to download it.

Has anyone else got it when downloading the patch? Does anyone know how I got it?

I also have the car, but I got it from the store.  The Happy Holiday Presents set.  It is a free set from EA.  I went back through my purchase history but could not find it.  So I googled montalcino fandango and from the google results page I got a link to the set with the car included.  I am not sure how you got it with the patch though.  For anyone who wants the car here is the link: http://store.thesims3.com/setsProductDetails.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:22676

EDIT:  I did go back through my purchase history a little more carefully and the picture is of a wreath representing the Happy Holiday Set.  Maybe check your purchase history to see if you have downloaded that set.

I actually find this annoying -.- One of the main reasons I bought the collectors edition of the sims 3 was because of the european sports car

Oh! Recently I redownloaded that set because I had to reinstall my game. I didn't notice that the car now came with the set. Thanks gerrr00.

I had downloaded that set when it first came out and i swear that the car wasn't part of the set. Just redownloaded the set, so thank you gerrr00

I also bought the collectors edition for the USB drive, which my daughter promptly stole from me.  lol I think it is so cute.  She is silly and sometimes walks around holding it above her head.

The first set did not have the car.  There are actually 2 Happy Holiday sets.  I have both downloaded.  I wanted the car.  In my game it shows up as a store item.  Glad I could help.

gerrr00, I can't tell you how big the the smile was that crossed my face was when I read that!

Now if only you could "click" on her and queue up tasks for her, huh? hehe
