Sim Stopped Skilling

My sim is at level 9 and a bit in painting. She has a wish to max the painting skill and has completed 2 skill challenges but the skill bar over her head is not getting any pluses and she has painted 3 paintings without any skilling. On top of that, she is painting a painting and it isn't getting painted. The green bar at the op says that the painting is finished. I have tried resetsim but it is not working. Please help!

Have you tried buying a second easel and having her use that one?

Yes, she has two easels, I am thinking of resetting the game and seeing if that helps.

I would try evicting your household thru the edit town and then moving them back into he house and see if that helps.

I reset the game and now my sim is skilling slowly, but still skilling. She is still at level 9 after painting 22 paintings. I will evict them and put them  back and see what happens.
