Help! Two of my paintings disappeared from the wall. How do I get them back?

Do you see a red O with / over it (don't know it's English name) when you hover the cursor over the place on the wall where they disappeared? Just thinking could this be the same odd thing which sometimes happens to tombstones/urns.
