Exporting Newly Built House

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Exporting newly built houses? I am getting the error message, "Failed to share House Name" and it doesn't appear in the Exported folder.

I know this is an obvious question, but are you filling out the house name properly?

I give the house a name when I export it. I never had a problem before the last patch. I wonder if it will work if I give the house a name in the house info area and then try to export it. I'll try that tomorrow when I go back into game.

It did not work. I also deleted all my cache files (which I do before every game anyway). I deleted a lot of bin houses...the ones I know I have copies of on my PC. Looking back at my Export folder, I noticed that there were no exported houses in that folder since July 24th. But, that could be because I haven't tried to export a house. Do you know if there is some way to save a house that is in the bin (library) without sharing it?

Evidently I have too many house files in my Library. I started a new Sims 3 folder, loaded a saved game, and was able to export the house. So now, it's just a matter of putting each house in a game, saving the game, and moving the save file to the new folder. Then, export it. Did I say "just?" It's a big job. That will be a lesson to me to export my houses right away and then delete them from the library if I'm not going to use them for a while.
