Stray/wild animals
« on: September 07, 2013, 02:41:20 AM »
I don't seem to have any stays in my game. Do they just spawn themselves or do I have to encourage them some how? I wasn't sure of there was something you had to turn on or off in options mode.

Many thanks happy Sim'ing

They spawn on their own.  However, there are also little yard gnomes you can buy and put in your yard to increase the chances of getting stray dogs and cats.  I think you find them in Buydebug.

I think you can find the gnomes under normal items (not buydebug) - look under pets. They are little gnomes holding red signs.

Just so you know, the gnomes have two settings.  You can set them to attract strays or to repel them.  If you want to change the setting, just click on the gnome to change it.

Brilliant thanks. I've placed the gnomes, knowing my luck I'm repelling them lol. I'll double check their settings now.
