elixer consignment store problems in IP

Is anyone else having problems with the elixir store in Island Paradise?  I spent a lot of time building one, placed the cash register, and it keeps saying "store closed."  I tried replacing the register.  I tried bulldozing the lot then replacing my building (and replacing the cash register again).  Still nothing.

So I place a couple of other elixir stores I had, even on different lots. Some were from the exchange, but one was the store that came with Supernatural.  No matter what I did, none of the stores would work; everytime it said "store closed."  I also tried at different times of day:  morning, afternoon, evening (but my understanding is the elixir store is usually 24/7?) 

Anyone else encountered this?

Ok....this may be a non issue.  I'd been trying to get this to work since last night, and it just wouldn't.  Tried for a couple of hours today too. Then, just now, for no apparent reason, a consignment specialist showed up, and now my store is "open."  How odd!

One thing you'll want to do, any lot that you build on, you'll want to make sure you have plenty of space between the lot boundary and your buildings. I had inadvertently gotten an elixir consignment specialist stuck behind towers that were out on the ocean (why she was there and not at the store is unusual). Once I put enough space for her to walk around, she ran right back to work.
