The Jockey lifetime wish not working...

The requirements for completion of The Jockey wish is that my sim gets to level 10 in the riding skill and earns 40,000 simoleons using his horses. I've got to level 10 in riding, however, every time I win a competition or sell a horse, the money for my lifetime wish doesn't increase (stays at 0/40,000 when I hover over the wish symbol).

Can someone help me mix this or explain why this is happening please?

This happens very often. Though its usually just a glitch. Really, your lifetime points are at the amount they should be. I am not sure how to fix this..  but I wouldn't worry.
