Sims 3 - How do you delete the undeletable?

Someone told me a cheat to delete spawners & I can't remember what it is. I've used it loads but have got a mind blank. Please help.

Hi Gingerkid,I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but the only cheat I know for this is:Bring up the cheats box (shift,ctrl,c) then type in testingcheatsenabled true press enter,Then bring up cheat box again and type in buydebug press enter.Then click on lot and go to buy mode go to the second button down (where it sorts all the stuff into categories,comfort toilets ect,a question mark(?0 will be at the top of the categories box.Go back to play,all the spawners should now be visible and you can delete them.

Thank you that is what I mean. Except its not working just with that. When you hover over the item you want to delete & click it just picks it up & doesn't delete. There was something else you had to do to bring up options one of which was to delete the object. So frustrating when you've done something a lot then forget.

I believe the cheat you need is moveobjects on

Just for clarification, you need all 3 mentioned cheats to be active at once, and testingcheatsenabled before buydebug.
This allows moving or deleting most spawners. Unfortunately not roaches in resorts.

You can get those roaches actually, you find them on the basement level. I usually have to build a small basement to go down and then you can see them all and delete them

Yeah I've done all that. I must be missing something. I'll try again now. Thank you all. You can get rid of the roaches, I've done it before using this cheat. I'm not sure what I've been doing wrong this time.

Ok I've figured it out you need to do the following cheats (as mentioned before)
testingcheatsenabled true
Buydebug
Moveobjects on
Then hover over the object so the hand appears, hold down shift & ctrl (so arrow and wheel yhingy appear) then click your mouse and it will bring up 4 options. You want delete in this case. This does work on the roaches in resorts, the spawner boxes will delete but sometimes new spawners appear so you may have to do it again in the future.
