Adventures; Cerambyx beetles
« on: August 09, 2010, 03:43:00 PM »
Hello

I am stuck on an adventure in France.  I need to find 5 cerambyx beetles, and the map shows the positions of them, but when I go there I can't see any?!!  Can anyone help?

Thanks

I feel I need to wait a few in game minutes for butterfies and insects to show up. I also keep the game on normal speed so it is easier to click on them. Hope this helps.

Yes, the bugs can be a little tricky sometimes.  I usually zoom in a little and just wait on normal speed.  They'll come up out of the ground eventually, unless they've gone from that spot in the meantime.

I know what he means, there's a place in France that shows beetles and butterflies with the collection helper(north of island I think) but only a few are actually there. When I zoom in, a bit of that collection helper light that highlights things your looking for shows through points in the ground, bugs nowhere in sight.

@Pielord  Those spots are the butterflies that are truly underground.  If you have Pangu's Ax, just smash the 3 boulders beside the frog pond and then you can use the stairs to go down below to Tuatha's Garden.  You can go through all the rooms and finally end up at a dive well that will take you to the little Island in the middle of the river. Here is a link, http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/worldadventures/france/ , go to the very bottom entry to see what I am talking about.

Thank you! I've been wondering about that for what seems like forever! :D

I have tried waiting several in game hours on slow speed, never mind minutes!!  I have also tried different times of day, but the beetles just don't seem to be where the map says they are?!!  Confused  :-\
