Oh man, that's no good :( You could try unlocking it in a different save and save it to My Studio but I'm not sure if that will work. I know I've seen houses from other saves in my current game so it might be worth a try if you didn't want to start over. But your karma powers you've unlocked will be there still but yeah, you'll have to redo the mysteries :( I'll leave it up to you..might be easier to start again..the lazy side of me definitely agrees with that :p If you've saved your current sims you can use them in your new game at least though it's a pain trying to rebuild their skills lol.

Another thing, if you decide to start over don't save over your current game. Start a new save slot. That way you can always go back if you're not happy with the new game.

Thanks, that's what I planned to do.  That's why I figured I would have to unlock the Karma powers again because that's what happens when you start a new save file.  Also, someone had mentioned that I could use the same sims but I would have to create new sims to create a new save file but I'm not working on anything special.  I find myself creating sims now to unlock trophies and stuff like that.

You can create the new sims/pets and then import the ones you want from My Studio then delete the ones you had to create for the new game. I think you press triangle while they're selected and confirm the deletion. Do this while you're still in create a sim..don't begin the new game til you've sorted the sims, obviously.
My partner figured that one out lol. Anyway, best of luck and I hope this is the last game you'll have to start over with..I guess you've gotta take it in your stride on the PS3 version, don't you? :)

Thanks.  I don't really care though.  i just created a guy a cat and a dog.  I don't care about making new sims.  I almost unlocked Goth Manor then I get the glitch where during a ghost haunting I go there and it acts like it does at 5am but it's 9pm.  The same message pops up saying the ghosts are gone with the sun or something like that but it's still 9pm and the haunting is suddenly over as soon as my pet gets there.  So annoying.  Sometimes it takes forever for me to get to a ghost haunting.  Either nothing happens or it's a poltergeist haunting.  I'll save Goth Manor to My Studio when I unlock it and see what happens.  Do you guys know if it only saves the house and not the design of the yard?  I am not sure if I can duplicate how the yard is but I might be able to.

I've never tried to do that on the console, but on the pc it's everything on the lot. Maybe it's the same.

OK so I finally unlocked Goth Manor.  I quickly saved it into my studio before someone lived there.  Then, I save and exit my second save and go back to my first save.  I then go to my map and to the place where Goth Manor used to be.  I selected it and it had replace house so I did that and Goth Manor was there.  I waited a minute or so for loading to finish and Goth Manor was back.  The yard was included. :)

Thanks everyone for your help. ;)
