Only one sim may have a romantic interest relationship level with that person. No other household member can be romantic interest with that sim, they each have to have their own, unique romantic interest sim.

I believe that, at the time of the challenge, a bug had been floating around that reset a Sim's age when they used a dresser. Since that would extend a mother's ability to have babies, the dresser was banned for her. This bug was fixed in the next patch, so the dresser doesn't do that anymore.
