Drafts of posts?

Hi, I'm not sure if this belongs to this forum so feel free to move if so:)

Anyway, my question is whether there is a possibility to create posts as drafts? Sometimes my computer crashes and though I usually write in notepad, I do sometimes lose formatting changes. And also, I'd like to post the links to my images as I go.

Just wondering if its possible to do so by anyway.
