Stuck unwanted vehicles in inventory

Hi, In IP, (as this is so far the only place I've had this happen).  I have 10 houses I rotate between and every time I go to a different home, I find extra vehicles in the inventory as well as losing the ones I originally bought. Cars as well as boats, but mostly boats that I had never purchased and I can't get rid of.  I'm unable to drag them.  They are just stuck there.  Sometimes I'll find 3 boats, could be all the same, or different, or 2 of one kind 1 of another.  blahhh.

Is there a way to get rid of them?

Have you tried testingcheats on then shift-clicking them to delete them? When you do this, a menu will come up and I think you click object and then delete.

Hi Jamie, yes I tried that first.  No go.  I also tried the mailbox.  It doesn't show up in the list of things to remove.
  I found nothing on this when I tried to search this problem.  I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one having this.  It feels like a glitch that should be rearing it's ugly head for others.

Yeah, I've had something similar happen in my games. Sometimes when I move someone into the household and they have cameras or other objects in their inventory, I can't sell or delete them. Unfortunately, I haven't found a fix for it yet.

Yes, I've too had the cameras.  As if they need them with their phones.   Hopefully, a fix will come along.  Sometimes I have 3 or more extra vehicles per individual, particularly in a family with teens.  They add up.

Hmm.. do you have any mods? If you don't already use it, Nraas' Overwatch might be something you want to try. It's supposed to help with clearing out extra cars and things like that from your game.

If you're not opposed to using mods in this case, Overwatch should take care of it, but I also know DebugEnabler (by Twallan who also makes Overwatch, Story Progression and Master Controller) has a feature where you "purge" stuck content from a Sims inventory. If nothing else works that's worth a short. You click on the vehicle that's stuck and click on "Nraas>Debug Enabler>Purge" that would take care of it.
If you're not overly fond of mods, have you tried resetting the Sims? Or doing a ResetSim * (to reset everyone)?

I've had the same thing happening in my game as well. I also have a cheap stereo and a waterslide stuck in my family inventory. There are many boats stuck in the ocean as well that I can not delete or interact with. It is annoying, but I just ignore the glitches the best I can.
