This is the upgraded version of a house built at MissPlumbBob's request.  She's planning to use it in a story, and would prefer if no one else feature it in a story but it's otherwise free for anyone to use. Enjoy!

Note: There is a starter version of this house located here: http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,17017.0.html

This small home, decorated in a quaint cottage style,  is just right for a family with a small pet.  There's a bedroom wth double bed, a kitchen and dining area, a desk, TV, bookshelf and couch for the Sims, plus a toybox, bed and food dish for a small pet.  The screen porch houses a treadmill and chess set, and the nursery has an extra bed for an older sibling.  There are patio furniture, a grill and a doghouse in the spacious backyard.

Gorgeous! I love the wallpapers and the colours that you have used. Very effective! It's hard to pick a room that I like best.

First of all, thank you for building for me!

I just wanted to explain to everyone why there are two versions; it's kind of a funny story. At first, I requested a starter for my Simself. She has a dog, which explains the "canine" part of the name and also some of the decor. Bitty (the dog) dug up a tiberium gem, which sent my budget up 35000 to 40000 Simoleons. I like that you uploaded both versions because I know from experience that Simmers look for nice starters. :)

I did not expect a house in this style, but that's exactly what I like about it. The exterior colors say "American" because of the red, white, and blue effect. I don't know if that was intended, but it definitely has curb appeal. ;)

The price is very accessible; I think a number of Sim couples have enough money to purchase it by the time they have children. I know many Simmers can appreciate the fact that you hardly used stuff pack items, and I don't think the house necessarily needed them.

The interior wallpapers and decor convey the "cottage" aspect perfectly. I love the blue and yellow color scheme in the common area. Subtle touches like the leash in the foyer, scattered books, coat by the back door, and rocking horse add to the country feel. MoveObjectsOn was also used creatively. It's great that you were able to include the skilling items on the screened porch for my Simself's LTW, and you remembered the constructive criticism about using more buy mode lighting!

Bottom line: I appreciate this so much! I love love love it, and I hope I do it justice when I use it in my story. Thanks again.  :D
