Roaches!

My resort is having a problem with roaches and some of the reviews are complaining about cleanliness but I already have 3 high quality maintenance workers, I don't think there is a way to get more? Is there a limit to how much occupancy you can have before your crew can't cope?

I've noticed that in my resorts as well, and I believe the cause is a glitch with the maintenance workers. I had one resort where I needed to re-hire the staff daily to keep them coming. It's like they would show up, but then disappear. I ended up selling that resort and starting a new one, so far no problems.

There is a problem where the roaches are being spawned underground and the maintenance workers cannot get to them.  You will see the workers complaining with a pathfinding problem thought bubble.  To fix it:

• turn on cheats:  testingcheatsenabled true
• turn on special buy mode:  buydebug on
• turn on moving objects: moveobjects on
• go down a level until you see the roach spawner(s)
• select the roach spawner(s) and place them on  the ground level
• turn everything off again

Your workers should be able to get to the roaches now.  If you have the maximum amount of workers and they are unable to keep the place clean: place trash cans for easier trash removal, and upgrade your plumbing to not break.  The workers will sometimes get hung up on mopping the floor instead of repairing.  Another thing I've noticed, when you have ghosts staying at your resort, they might haunt your buffet tables and the guests will complain that you do not have that type of food available.
