How to Save Lot?

This may be a real "noob" question, but I have never done it before. How do you save a house design and lot so that you can use it again with another character later?

From the edit town screen, if you click on the lot you want to save, one of the little icons along the bottom should say something like 'save to library' do that, then any time you want to use it again, go to edit town, go to the lots bin (there's a couple depending on whether the lot is occupied) find the house you made and use place copy to, well place a copy really.  Hope that helps
