Dynasty Question

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post... I didn't know where it should be.
I know that Sims can adopt a second child that will not be an heir. However, I realized after adopting a child that she was older than the heir. Is this allowed?

Redmare, there are three different dynasties, each with its own set of rules.  The place to ask this question would be in the Challenge board, in the thread pertaining to the dynasty you're asking about.  I'm going to ask you to post your question there, and I'll lock this thread.
