Wow, thanks, everyone.
Feeling a little more motivated now. Can't promise that the updates will be very frequent, but I'll do it as I feel it. Hopefully I'll feel a little more spark as I play.
So I'm gonna start off with Ivory's first day as a young adult to ease back into things.
Lucinda was sleeping in for a little while after staying up late cleaning up after Ivory's party, so Jersey made breakfast for the family (because the birthday cake was eaten at the party and the food some of the guests brought along had spoiled....oops)
...Well, at least burnt waffles wouldn't make everyone sick like Archer's spoiled fish and chips would have. And Jersey's pretty proud of his first cooking effort (since I'm having all heirs avoid cooking skill like the plague in case I want to have a future heir supermax it). Leo rejected his father's cooking and had ice cream for breakfast, but Ivory gave in and shared Jersey's "creation" with him.
After breakfast and a pleasant chat with her father, Ivory went to the consignment store. She'd been holding a painting for a little while that she made as a child before I made her stop gaining painting skill points, and she was ready to test out her brand new "Born Saleswoman" trait.
And I was surprised to find out that there was a new Consignment Specialist...... Conrad Casillas. Yup, that guy living in the old Landgraab house that I'm trying to hook Ivory up with.
Ivory must've inherited her father's fancying of consignment specialists, because she stopped to talk with Conrad and discovered an attraction to him.
After growing a crush on Conrad, Ivory rushed home to paint. She needs some more things to sell to the cute consignment guy.
Jersey went out to the park for a while before work. He called up a coworker to visit him there. I've noticed that Jersey's "teammates" section of his job performance has an orange, disgruntled face symbol. He only knows a couple of his coworkers, and those that he does he has relatively low relationships with. Probably because all of them are getting old and croaking after he befriends them.
Anyway, here's Jersey with his teammate, Brie................who died later the same day. So much for that.
Lucinda didn't do anything exciting this day. Read the newspaper, did some gardening, and watched tv.
However, the heir's younger brother has been getting into something new. Remember the grumpy, blonde, mismatched girl at Ivory's party? Right, Rain Perkins. She invited Leo to hang out at her house after school. He went along. Not like he has much else to do. Personally I was excited just that she lived somewhere.
Leo started socializing with her on his own accord and even got wishes to flirt with her. He held back for a while, but as the white went on, things got a little snuggly.
That guy, Jonah, that Leo hooked up with during the teen party might be getting a rude awakening soon...
The night was spent with Leo hanging out with his new love interest, Ivory painting, and Jersey and Lucinda getting some deserved time together...
...And then a short dance party with Ivory and Jersey.
