Chapter 2: The Dysfunction BeginsMorgana decided to take a trip to the library and thus, Thornton was home alone. Until he got a wild desire to invite Jamie Jolina over. They met through Morgana's work and well... Thornton like her. A lot. Perhaps a little too much, really. So much in fact that they ended up in the bedroom, surrounded by pillows.
Seriously. They had a nice pillowfight or two. That is, until Thornton decided to step over his borders as a married man properly and invited her to go see a movie in the cinema with him.
That's not cool, Thornton. You stayed a fateful, married man for less than ten hours.
Not that he kissed her or anything, but you just don't usually invite your wife's boss in the cinema to watch a romantic comedy.
During all of this drama, Morgana met and befriended Gus Hart in one of the library's public bathrooms. His looks are nothing to cheer about, but he shares many more interests with Morgana than Thornton.
Then suddenly, Gus started screaming in pain and clutching his stomach, and Morgana, whom we all know is none other than Wonder Woman in disguise, saved the day by curing him even if she's only a Bed Pan Cleaner and thus, should not usually be allowed to perform anything more complicated than first aid.
After the rescue mission, she casually said goodbye to her new friend and returned home, where Thornton had luckily showed up a few minutes prior and was innocently reading the newspaper.
Over dinner, Morgana pulled herself together and got down to business. She was sick and tired of having nothing definite but work in her life, since Thornton usually just ate, went to work and slept. She knew it'd be a difficult one to talk him into having a child. She was right. Thornton was like a giant rock, impossible to move and icy cold.
So Morgana tried more... alternative methods.
It didn't really work. Time for a new plan.
