Kleptomaniac Stealing Power.

I was scrolling around in the FAQ for no reason, and I noticed that it says in the "How Do I Steal" bit that "This works on public lots, like the art gallery, so you can rob them blind." This is not true. Last time I checked, you can only steal stuff from public lots if its out in the open, like in the park or something. I waited around for ages in the gym because I wanted the flat screen TV, and the "Swipe Something" never showed up when I clicked on the floor and it was 11 at night. I think EA patched it to make it like this. So, you can only steal from the neighbour's house, or public lots that are out in the open.  :(

Thanks.  You're right that the Klepto trait has changed a bit since the game was first released.  Carl checks this board regularly, so he should see this soon.

I also noticed, if you steal something from in front of the art museum, items regenerate in a few sim days.  I didn't think they did, but my sim stole the statues in front and I was going to go into edit town and replace them and sure enough, there was more statues.  I thought I had read they did not come back.  I know cars don't, bummer. lol
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?
