Money cheat not working

Hi all,

I changed the household name I'm playing and now no matter what I do I can't get the money cheat to work.  I know I'm typing all the commands in correctly because I've done it before.  Does it not work because I changed the household name?

You're making sure to use the correct household name and that household name isn't the same as another one in game right?

No, its a pretty unique name and there's not another of the same name.  I guess I'll keep trying, hopefully they won't run out of money lol.  A couple of sims do work so money is coming into household.

Is that the motherload cheat?

Mines not working either. This is strange I've used it a lot. Is there another money cheat so I can see if that one works?

Doh! My bad, I was mis-spelling it. I was spelling it motherload and it should be motherlode. Doh, sorry hope you've found the cure to your problem.

No I didn't try the motherlode money cheat yet just the one where you get a million simoleons but I will try the motherlode one and see if that works.
