How do you make another simbot after the opportunity?

I want a male simbot (not sexist), but it won't let me make one. Do I need the opportunity again or something?

I've only made one Simbot, but I'm sure others have made more.  Hopefully, they'll be along soon to explain how to do it.

You need to have all the same ingredients as you gathered during the opportunity before you can build another. One heart-cut pink diamond, some paladium, 10 life fruit, and, lest we forget, 100 scrap. Once you gather all that, you should be able to do a Large Invention and see the Simbot! Good luck!

Yay! Thanks. I actually can't believe I didn't figure that out on my own. xD But when I made my first bot (that I let go by mistake) I had a life core from the scientist.

In the opportunity you take all the Pink DIamond, life fruit and paladium to the Science Lab and then you get given a Life Core, but I guess they give you the blue prints to the core? 

I have never had a male Simbot out of the two I have had? Are there males?

Yes Samoht, there are males. My first simbot was a male one.

When you build them yourself (after the first one you build through the opportunity chain) you get to choose male or female.

I didn't get to choose mine, I got a female.

The first one you build, you don't get to choose. After that, (obviously with the same sim) you do get to - or at least, I did. Maybe this was added in an update?
