Imaginary Friend

Hi I've read somewhere about babies having imaginary friends and they need a doll? Does that sound right? Also if I haven't just made all of this up how do I get this doll & imaginary friend?

You have to have generations installed. The doll should automatically have it in his or her inventory when they are born. I dont have much experience with them but I think you have to have the child befriend them and they will age up with you child. I only way (as far as I know) to bring them to life and have them become part of your household is to you a potion from the chemistry table and give it to them to drink.

At least that it what I know from reading the guide, the generation thread on this forum, and the Classic Immortal Dynasty (she did exactly what I descibed in her dynastly.)

I've got generations but I haven't noticed the doll. I'll have to have a look out.

The doll will arrive in the mail. You should get a pop up that says a mysterious doll has arrived just after the baby is born, and then send a sim to check the mailbox and the doll will go into the kids inventory.

You can either make them real with the potion from the chemistry table (Imaginary Friend Metamorphim) or by getting an opportunity that requires you to give in a rainbow gem to the Science centre in return for the potion. Your kid needs to play with the doll lots as a toddler, then put them on the floor when you get a popup that tells you to, make the child-size IF your best friend, then give them the potion.
