I've only been Simming for a few months now, and I've been trying to work up the stones to try the Dynasty challenge. Learning that you took it up after only a month is pretty inspirational.  ;D Your story was fantastic! Thanks for the hard work.

Wow! A great story told in wonderful style. It took me several days to read it all, but it was so worth it. Thank you very much.

COngratulations Kat, on both completing and entering the hall of fame! *confetti*
I really should start a dynasty or a legacy....but I don't know what exactly makes a legacy a legacy, or if I have the patience to go through the qualifications and everything for a dynasty. I mean, I have an idea, but I don't think you're allowed to create the spouse and his best friend with convenient traits, set them loose in the world, and start your dynasty sim. =P Plus, I want Outdoor Living, and that's not going to be here for a week or so...along with Supernatural. =3

Anyways, I adore the Starrs; I love it when the writers give their sims such a personality.
Oh, what's the item that you had in the nursery in front of the bed/crib that's all wood on top and curtains on the sides?

(....most recent nursery picture is on page 20)

I think it's a curtain. Do you mean hanging from the ceiling to the floor?

This is a curtain that was placed with moveObjects on.  It's from the base game and was recolored to look like wood at the top.

And it can just magically hang there not being attached to a wall?
I've never really used curtains before so I don't know how they work entirely xD

With the moveobjects on cheat, yes, it'll hang there.

The cheat will also allow you to "stack" items on one another that normally the objects' footprints won't allow.

Offhand, I can't remember who I saw do it, but if you have the clothing rack from Ambitions, you could theoretically make a closet with the cheat (set the size of the closet, install the door, then use the cheat to place the rack right behind the door).

Okay, this is REALLY late. But I feel like thanks are in order. When I first visited the forum, your story was the first one that popped out at me. At that time, you were on the second to last chapter. I just kept reading and reading and reading until I felt as if my eyes would would start burning  ;D nah I'm just kidding. But on a serious note, thank you so much for doing the challenge. It not only gave me a perfect reason to be on the computer for over 4 hours (with breaks in between so my eyes didnt die, mind you  ;) ), but it also encouraged me to try the immortal dynasty for myself. I haven't been able to finish one since my first save was cruelly deleted on accident  :'( and I haven't had time with school, but now I can't wait to start it back up again! Many thanks. And good luck on any other challenges you may do in the future.

I know I'm a bit late, but I absolutely love, love, love your story!! I'm too big a chicken to try one myself, let alone write about it. I've tried a couple of times, but my game just doesn't agree with me:P. Maybe now I might try writing about it:).
I'm on fire, I'm a fighter. I'll forever be the last one standing.
