Hello. I'm posting here because the EA forums were unable to help after several days and because you all seem like learned Simmers. I hope I have chosen the right forum section.
Whenever any of my Sims has the Insane trait, they will sometimes change outfits repeatedly. They will change, take a few steps, change again, on and on until they reach their destination. Usually this occurs when the destination is outside, when a normal Sim would pick outerwear. In extreme cases it can take half a Sim day for them to get the mail, for example.
It has not always been this way. I do not recall when the problem appeared or which EPs I'd had installed at the time (I have them all now), but it was long before I'd tried using mods or CC. Now Sims with the Insane trait are effectively unplayable in my game, which is disappointing because it used to be my favorite trait.
Does anyone know of this bug having happened to someone else, and is there a way to fix it? If the solution is a mod or something that can't be discussed here, even your confirmation of that fact would give me the motivation to continue my effort to research the problem.
