Not my day!!!

So today is the worst day ever!!!! The patch I downloaded has changed permissions, it's asking me to do a re-install, I can't do that as I no longer have the base game, I traded it along with world adventures for a new expansion!!!!

Now it keeps telling me I have a new update every time I log in....

Is there a way round this...

First the seasons crash, now this....dam!

Maybe it doesn't mean reinstall the game, but maybe reinstall the patch.  I have never seen a message for reinstalling the game.  If you can get the exact message again and post it on here, we should be able to help a little better.  Thanks

I didn't get a picture but I tried again, it said that some files had been modified, so I checked the log and some of the framework files are in red, and it says re-install. Same thing happens it tells me I have an update

I would never recommend getting rid of the base game, or any other expansion that you want to play. There are just too many times that a complete reinstall is the only solution abd you can't do that. That's going to be nothing but trouble for you.

Also, would you please change the title of this thread to something more specific? It's too vague to really describe the topic.

Never mind I'm using the ultimate fix, which seems to have worked fine
