NPC social network

Hi there,
does anybody know how to or if its possible to change an npc sims (i.e. in same dorm but uncontrollable) social network group? i.e. from rebel to jock?

Just switch the sim to your family (you can do this through cheats) and start making them focus on said social group. Hint: in the Lifetime rewards, there are rewards that cost 2,000 for either jock, rebel, or nerd- and they increase experience within whatever social group(s) you buy the reward for.

Without cheats --

Video gaming increases nerd level
Herbs/cinnamon kiss increases rebel
Playing with the flying disc(?) increases jock


However, you can't control what they do autonomously the rest of the time, so they could probably still bump up their ranking in the original group

You could try locking them in a room or yard with only an object that builds the social group skill that you want - eg: rebels, empty room with a megaphone and street art kit. Jocks, sporting stuff, juice pong, juice keg etc Over time their affiliations with the other social groups might decrease like it does for sims under your control.

But when you level up in a certain group, don't you get items in your inventory?? I know for sure the rebels get the megaphone, nerds get the game console but it can't be used without player intervention, right?? With any luck, something should work out though!

Hey, thanks for the replies, I will have a play and see what I can do, is it possible to cheat to change the sim back to an npc?

You can just move them out and not play them.
