Guitarists Not Needing to Buy Sheet Music
« on: July 16, 2010, 05:27:27 PM »
I've noticed that my new guitarists have magically learned songs which they can perform, as they leveled up the skill. I have not needed to buy sheet music so far. Has this always been the case, and I've just noticed it? Or is it a new wrinkle (all these new wrinkles, haha!)?

Some songs you'll learn by skill, some you'll learn from books. It's been like that from the beginning. Check here (Mastering the Art of Guitar) if you want confirmation. :)

Right.  They can only buy five songs at the bookstore, I believe.  But they ultimately know probably 20 songs by the time they reach level 10.
