I can't delete my deck! Help!

For some reason, I can't delete these pieces of deck. It really annoys me now because I'm planning on rebuilding my house. There's nothing on it or under it but I can't still delete it. I tried the sledgehammer tool and moveobjects to no avail. Any suggestions?

This may sound silly, but have you tried checking if there's anything over it? Like a ceiling light?

I did not notice any other part of a house, so since you are going to rebuild it anyway my suggestion is bulldoze the lot and it should clear it entirely.

What was attached to the deck to start with?   Is it possible you have an invisible gnome?

I had this problem in my legacy file, it was only resolved through moving my family with house to the clipboard, bulldozing the existing lot and then placing my family back onto the lot.
