Graphical glitch

As you can see by the picture, my game isn't doing so well. I Just finished installing it and it's just a mess. Also, it isn't still but the grey things move... I can't really explain it but you catch my drift.
Also, I don't seem to be able to save my settings, the always return to default after I hit apply. Any Ideas?
My specs:

 Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz
4.0 GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 8 Pro
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Looks like your game is in a tiff with the graphics driver, indeed. Did you patch? (as apparently from the window, you have up to Town Life Stuff).

I have: Fast Lane, High-end loft stuff, Generations, Late Night, Town Life stuff, outdoor living stuff. If that is what you are asking °

Edit: FIXED!! I just made it compatible with windows 7. ( Right click on sims 3, properties, comparability, run with windows 7)
