Can't always start up game. [Different Issue]

Ever since I Installed Seasons, my game doesn't start up. I normally use the short cut to get there (Bypassing TS3 Launcher), but now it shows the EA, Maxis and Sims 3 Logos, before showing the little video clip. Normally, I can skip it, but suddenly, I can't. Then, the screen goes blank. I tried this about 3 times, but each time it wouldn't show the loading screen.
I managed to sort this out temporarily by using the launcher, and I noticed that whether I can skip the Video or not determines whether the loading screen will appear. I have managed to still play the game, but its taking me about 45 Minutes to start it up!
I'm using Nraas Error Trap, but that is my only Mod. Also, I'm not opposed to using Mods to help this problem.

EDIT: So I managed to get my game to start up ok, but it has also been randomly crashing. It crashes around every 12 Sim hours. Could I have some help, please?

It might have some useful information.  I read your post outloud to Hubby (FlynnArrowstarr) last night and we we're both stumped for an answer to your problem.

I heard that the shortcut to bypass the launcher is causing problems for people.

I also heard that this sounds like an issue that had happened previously when they started adding in the thumbnails on the launcher.  Make sure your options don't have shop mode on.   A quick way to possibly fix might be to delete the files in the FeaturedItems folder in your TS3 folder.  If you're not sure if shop mode is on, you can check your options file for the line "ingamestoreopened = 1"  1 means it's turned off.

Thanks for both of your helps! I managed to fix the crashing problem, by doing the Factory Reset.
