Sim Going for Second Degree Won't Load
« on: April 29, 2013, 12:28:16 AM »
I looked through this forum and I have a wish to obtain a 2nd degree, I enrol, get picked up and head off to Uni but when I get there, my sim is not loaded and some random character is loaded and the University area seems blank as well.  Oh, I also a sim daughter too.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?

Thanks.

Welcome to our Forum.

I changed the subject line of this thread so that it would make a little more sense for the specific issue you're having.

It sounds like you may have a bugged file, similar to the old travel bug.  Are you able to send your Sim back home?  I would also suggest you try loading your backup file[url] and see if the same thing happens.

I inadvertantly deleted my backup game.

Before sending my sim wife to uni, I saved as and then went and then dropped out.  I then re-enrolled as my male sim and he landed ok, I also only went for 6 credits this time so maybe that had something to do with it... I'll go back for more terms etc. to get the degree :)

Thanks.
