I'm guessing the person who gave me my vote did it out of pity.  I mean, my house WAS pretty rushed.

Then again, I went for low price + base game, so I'm playing in an entirely different ballpark.  In France. ;)

That's not true. There were a TON of entries, probably one of the most that the building contest thread has seen. In a normal contest, I'm sure your home could/would have gotten more votes. Try entering another contest and see what happens  :D

ps. Base gamers can do amazing things.... check out the P.C. house someone made.

I owe some lovely builders some comments.  ;)  And thanks to those who've commented - always appreciated!

Ausette:  Brilliant build!  I loved the micro-city apartment concept, and you really nailed it in execution.  Truly impressive use of the building system - I mean, cherry fridge magnets made out of a recoloured pattern!!!  It's little wonder you're part of the building contest team. :D

MissPlumbBob:  Maybe there weren't a lot of pics, but it did look like the house had a very nice arrangement with a lovely neutral palette for the decor.  :)

Gheez:  Small, compact, efficient, and with such an entertaining description - it all adds up to a truly charming entry.  Love the beach placement too!

Gogowars:  I honestly don't know how you managed to build it, so I'll just say wow.  Wow!

Snuffles:  What a charming little backstory to the build!  It's impressive you managed to squeeze in an extra bed into such a small amount of space.  Very cute!

I just wanted to say that I think this building contest was a fab idea.

I have downloaded quite a few of them and found them very useful! Particularly on the sims I have wanted to send to Uni almost straight away where you need the basics whilst earning a few points (classes) for them before taking the aptitude test.

As someone who generally just either builds a box pretty much or buys one of the small starter homes in whichever world I am playing; it has given me a lot more variety.

I love the building contests   :)

Kudos Ladies and Gents.
