No Secret Society this time around?

Those of you who've been playing since the Sims 2 days probably remember the Secret Society at the university in TS2. 

I haven't seen any mention of a Secret Society in University Life.  Did they leave it out this time around?  I always thought those midnight abductions were fun, and I was hoping to have them again...

I suppose the Social Groups are a type of Secret Society, albeit not as secret in TS2.

Nor do they have fancy clubhouses on hidden lots.

Sims 3 isn't supposed to be Sims 2.  They're not going to do everything the exact same no matter how many people ask for it that way.   They did University the Sims 3 way.
