Travel bug

I may have it because I once sent my Sim to China and when I sent him a second time, there is only the camera set in place where my Sim was the last time in China.  I don't see any icon of my Sim, only China.  Is there some solution?

This bug has been around for a while now.  Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a fix once it has occured.  Always save your game before travelling, it is rare, but not impossible, for it to happen twice in a row.  Go back to your last save and try again is the only solution I know of.  If it happens a second time, it may be best to exit the game completely and reload before trying a third time.

I have had one game where I simply could not travel  (I had 3 attempts), but, as it was at the very start of the game, I simply restarted the sims and started a new game.

I'm left hoping the travel bug doesn't crop up through University.  I almost wish they would hold off on future expansion and get that darn bug fixed.

i somehow manage to go to china and back but there were some problems. When i was in point where i was in china but there wasn't my sim i went to edit town and change town to to sunset valley and clicked return to game there was my sim but still were some missing things so i do that again and there were normal only there were some clone of my sim who i can't control but that didn't bothered me. When i wanted to go home there where some glitch , but i switched files from saves witch "sunset valley" in name from save before travel to my current save and it's working now:)
