Sing-A-Gram Problems

So I decided to play a singer character for the first time.  She did fine playing for tips but when she got her first Sing-a-Gram she just...wouldn't do it.  I've tried everything short of resetting her (because she isn't stuck, she still talks to other sims and whatnot) and still no change.  I'll select "Perform Sing-a-Gram", the icon will show up in the interaction queue and then after about a second it disappears.  This is HIGHLY frustrating so I'm hoping someone has an idea of what's going on.

I once had a sim whose body is invisible and couldn't sing for tips or preform sing-a-grams. You might want to go back to your last save or delete that game since it only happened to me once.
