From the road, the Louten house fits in with its neighbours.
Downstairs houses a bathroom and great room including a large kitchen for Claire, a dining area and a family area, currently decorated for Christmas. Out of season, it’s just the right size for gnubb or foosball.
Behind the stairs is Albert’s room, (almost) guaranteed to be free of pesky kids and technology. It has its own bathroom, so that children can’t mess up the floor by splashing in his bath, and is in easy reach of midnight snacks when the kids are (supposed to be) in bed.
Upstairs are bedrooms for Zoe, Jake and their parents, with extra space for their expanding family.
Jake’s room has a spare bed for friends or future brothers, a chair and bookshelf, stereo, and a desk and computer.
Zoe also has a spare bed and books, along with a toy oven and a ball. Her room is pink and girly enough to repel brothers, while remaining sporty and practical.
Claire and Andy have a pink and blue room, with a cot for the new baby. They have an en suite and a private balcony with views over Sunset Valley.
At the top of the house is an attic room, which currently houses out-of-season decorations (just right for blending in with the neighbours later in the year), toddler things, a late goldfish’s bowl, and a rug for when the snowflake one downstairs starts to look too wintery.
