Duplicate Sims

So, I recently moved the sims family I'm playing to Moonlight Falls, but interestingly enough, when they went to work/school, they met themselves! I've tried looking around the town to see if they live in the city, but I can't find them...How can I remove them? Or, why are they there? Thank you

I'm always having duplicate sims pop up everywhere--at one point, my sim was going to work with herself as her boss and three co-workers. (For whatever reason, one of them later died of old age on my property, despite being an adult and not having been invited over.)
This can be sometimes annoying, sometimes funny, but I usually just use "testingcheatsenabled true" and hit "Object-->Delete It."
